This viewpoint is found along national route 241, which connects the town of Akanko Onsen to the town of Teshikaga. There is a parking on the roadside and you climb a bit from there to the view point, which commands two emerald blue lakes amidst the lush green forests. You can see Lake Penketoh just below there. It is notable for its curious resemblance to the shape of Hokkaido. There is another lake named 'Panketoh' behind that but you can barely see it from there. It is 18 min. drive from Akanko Onsen.
