Kushiro Shitsugen Wetland Observatory was built to resemble tussock grass, a form of vegetation found in the wetland. Inside you will find information about the vegetation and a display featuring the mysterious Sakhalin taimen and other aquatic life.
The Satellite Observatory found at the mid-point of the facility’s connected wooden promenade offers commanding views of the wetland.The facility has a restaurant that serves lunch made from local ingredients.(Takes 30 minutes)
