    On March 30 2021, Akkeshi-Kiritappu-Konbumori National Park, which is over Kushiro, Akkeshi, Hamanaka and Shibecha towns, was designated.   Akkeshi-Kiritappu-Konbumori National Park is the 58th national park in Japan and the 6th national park in Hokkaido, and the first new national park to be designated in Hokkaido since the designation of the Shokanbestu-Teuri-Yagishiri national park in 1990.   The large of this park is 41,387 ha (including 32,566 ha of land area), which is about 1.4 times larger than Kushiro…
