Pashikuru Pond

The sunset over Lake Pashikuru is considered to be one of the new eight wonders of Onbetsu. Autumn sunsets seen from the sandy beach in particular are considered to be downright amazing. The lake is a frequent stop for campers in the summertime because it is located just off National Route 38 and close to the ocean. Many of these campers are families who enjoy playing in the water along the lake shore. This lake is normally connected to the ocean, but when the tide is out and it is cut off from the ocean, you can also enjoy hunting for freshwater clams.
