Kobunkan

This is a museum found in a restored building that used to house the Kushiro Shimbunsha, where Japanese poet Takuboku Ishikawa worked for 76 days. Inside this two-story retro yet trendy building you will find exhibits of rare documents from Takuboku. There is also a small cafe. Monuments to Takuboku's poetry works dot the surrounding area, so feel free use the museum as a rest stop on your journey back in time to discover the history of Takuboku and Kushiro.
