This viewpoint is found along national route 241, which connects the Akan lakeshore area to the town of Teshikaga. Climbing up to the observation point from the parking lot will reveal two emerald blue lakes amidst the deep green forests. The upper left lake is Panketoh, and the upstream lake to the lower right is Penketoh, notable for its curious resemblance to the shape of Hokkaido.
