SearchHokuto Observation Area
Hokuto Observation Area is located next to an expansive parking lot 500 meters north of Kushiro Shitsugen Observatory Boardwalk on prefectural route 53. This particular observation deck is recommended as a convenient stop on any drive. The observation area affords particularly wide open views from autumn to spring when the trees in front shed their leaves. This observation deck is also in an excellent location for watching the sun rise over Kushiro Shitsugen Wetlands.
