Kushiro Art Gallery

Situated at a high point in Nusamaicho with panoramic views of Kushiro City, this well-established and much-beloved art museum is located on the third floor of the Kushiro Lifelong Learning Center ("Manabotto Nusamai"). The museum holds about 10 exhibitions yearly, including special exhibits, project exhibits, and "petit collection" shows. With a collection of locally-oriented works of art, the museum performs research and holds regular "Kushiro Local Artist Exhibit" events.
