East Kushiro Wetlands (Hosooka Observatory, Lake Toro, Sarubo Observatory, etc.)

East Kushiro Wetlands (Hosooka Observatory, Lake Toro, Sarubo Observatory, etc.) On the eastern side, attractions include the Hosooka Observatory, Toro Lake, and Sarubo and Sarurun Observatories. The only public transportation available from Kushiro Station to this area is the JR Hokkaido Senmō Main Line, which operates approximately five to six times per day.
*Please note that many trains do not stop at Kushiro Shitsugen Station near Hosooka Observatory during winter.

There are no public transport services directly connecting the western and eastern sides of the wetlands. The shortest route by car between the Kushiro Wetlands Observatory and Hosooka Observatory is via the Kushiro Wetland Road.

Kushiro Airport to and from Kushiro Marsh

There are no direct public transportation options between Kushiro Airport and the Kushiro Wetlands. Visitors should first go to Kushiro Station and then use available transport options from there.
