In order to carry out the production of an anime in collaboration with Dropkick on my Jashin-chan!! set in Kushiro City, donations through hometown taxation were solicited in 2020, and the target amount of 30 million yen was achieved, leading to the decision to produce the Dropkick on my Jashin-chan!! Kushiro Arc anime.
Dropkick on my Jashin-chan!! Kushiro Arc, which was produced while location scouting in Kushiro City, was broadcast on Hokkaido Cultural Broadcasting at 1:40 AM on August 11, 2022.
The Kushiro Arc of the broadcast thoroughly introduces the charms of Kushiro, Akan, and Otobetsu, including the Kushiro wetlands, Washo Market, Ainu Village, andbutterbur fields.

What is Dropkick on my Jashin-chan!!?

Dropkick on my Jashin chan!! is an original animation based on a popular comic series (over 1 million copies sold) that has been serialized in the web comic "COMIC Meteo" by manga artist Yukio since 2012. The comedy depicts the dangerous and funny cohabitation of Jashin-chan, a demon from the demon world, and Yurine Hanazono, the college girl who summons her.
The first season of the TV anime was aired in 2018, and the second season in 2022. Moreover, Chitose City collected donations through hometown taxes and produced a special episode, the Chitose Arc, which has not yet been aired on TV.
The third season will aired from July to September 2022, and in addition to including the Kushiro Arc, also collaborates with Obihiro and Furano in Hokkaido, and Minamishimabara in Nagasaki.

Jashin-chan, a demon demon from the demon world who lives in Jimbocho, suddenly finds herself up to her eyeballs in debt. Jashin-chan arrives in Washou Market after wandering around the Kushiro wetlands, where she is attracted by the delicious smells and abundant seafood. She misunderstands a sign reading “Rice bowls as you like“ and begins to unrestrainedly indulge herself…
Meanwhile, in Jimbocho, Yurine senses Jashin-chan's presence and heads for Kushiro with a heavy heart.
Will Jashin-chan ever be able to escape safely? This is the Kushiro Arc that depicts the charms of Kushiro from the perspective of Jashin-chan, Yurine, and the others.
