" Marimo Cruise " start regular operation from May 1st. The 85 minutes boat ride give you an unparalleled opprtunity to see the rare creature named "marimo" or lake moss ball. The boat takes you to the scenic spots around Lake Akan and lastly stops at the Churui Ilet where you can have chance to see marimo up close. The boat leaves at 6:00  8:00  9:00   10:00  11:00  13:00  14:00  15:00  16:00  17:00. The one that leaves at 6:00 is a short course ( 60 min.) All the boats visit the Churui Islet.

The fees: Adult 2000 yen / Child aged 12 and under 1040 yen / Child aged 6 and under free
